When designing this space, I took a particular approach to the building’s layout by constructing distinct levels. Placing the circular stage in the center of the room meant finding a backstage area for rehearsals and preparation. So, I created an elevator system beneath the stage, allowing musicians and instruments to move seamlessly between levels. This solution not only optimizes storage and order, but it also demonstrates how circulation and function can be combined to create a cohesive architectural concept.
